Hello,
I'm Dr Karina Lamb. I began One Social Lamb as a consultancy when I saw a clear gap in the market for cultural planning.
One Social Lamb brings deep research and analytical skills to help our clients identify and understand insights that matter most. Our frameworks and models enable both the public and private sector to gain an objective understanding of the current state, while considering recommendations to lift performance and connection.
With a strong focus on creative industries, cultural tourism and venues, I have led the delivery of cultural planning for over 20 years with cultural institutions and government. I am a passionate strategist with operational experience, bringing a unique blend of research, analysis, commerciality, empathy, design and innovation to every engagement with a focus on cross-cultural and community-centric planning.
Cross-cultural and collaborative projects with First Nations commnities are central to my working life. My PhD thesis explores the relationship between indigenous languages and cultural venues in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. I hold a Master of Cultural Heritage and a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) with a double major in Photography and Visual Art Theory.
